Dr. Reut Sorek-Abramovich

Reut Sorek-Abramovich, PhD, is an expert astrobiology working in extreme environments and involved with new space projects in Israel - encompassing science, education and technology. Reut serves as head of the Science Department in the Desert Mars Analog Ramon Station operation, a completely new and exciting project for scientists, the general public and educators in the Israeli Negev. Reut is a core lecturer in the International Space University (SSP16, SSP17) and currently works with talented youth of The Young Astronaut Academy program, at the Davidson Institute. Reut established the Israeli Mars Society in 2017, to promote public engagement in Mars exploration.
