Opher Doron

Vice President & General Manager MBT Space Division, IAI

General Manager of MBT Space Division Israel Aerospace Industries, Ltd. (IAI) Opher assumed the job of General Manager, MBT Space Division in September 2011.
He served in the Israel Navy from 1979 in command and staff posts. He commanded several missile boats, including a Sa'ar 5 corvette and Squadron. His last position was Head of the Operational Requirements department. Opher retired from the Navy as a Captain in 2002, and still serves in the reserves.
From 2003 till 2008 he was director of marketing for MBT Missiles, and from 2008 until 2011 headed the Tactical Systems Division at NESS TSG.Opher holds a BA in economics with honors, and an MBA, from Haifa University.
