Mr. Sergey Saveliev

Mr. Sergey Saveliev is the Deputy Director General for International Cooperation. In 1989 he graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute. Throughout the years of 1989 - 1993 he was an engineer at Dolgoprudny Design Bureau of Automation. From 1993 - 1995, he was a Category 1 specialist of the Division of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation for the Ministry of Science and Technology Policy of the Russian Federation. From 1995 to 2001 he was the Third Secretary of the Permanent Delegation of the Russian Federation to UNESCO in Paris. Throughout the years of 2001 - 2004, he was the lead specialist of the Department for International Cooperation for the Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology. Then in 2004 until 2007, he was the Second Secretary of the Russian Embassy in London in the United Kingdom. In 2007 and 2008 he was the leading specialist of the Business Technology Department and Senior Manager of the Strategic Project Management Department of JSC Sukhoi Civil Aircraft. Finally from 2008 - 2015 he was the Deputy Head of the Federal Space Agency. He also won the Order of Merit award.
