Yossi Yamin

Yossi Yamin is the main founder and owner of SpacePharma. SpacePharma produces miniaturized laboratories for performing complex biological and chemical experiments in the microgravity environment of space. The laboratory is a breakthrough in terms of research capabilities in the microgravity environment of space. SpacePharma is active in outer space since February 15, 2017. His previous relevant experience includes more than 25 years of experience with large scale development projects across the United States, Israel and Canada, jointly working with different companies (i.e. BAE Systems, MacDonald Dettwiler, IAI). He also commanded hundreds of employees in a long military service at the Israelis Intelligence Corp, (ranked as a Lieutenant Colonel). While in service, Yossi was the Commander of the Israeli Satellite Unit for four years (2005-2009) during which he led the unit's preparations for three successful satellite launches and had overall responsibility for ground-station readiness and for Israel’s entire satellite remote sensing operations from end-to-end. He was responsible for raising $10mio USD (6.5 equity, 3.5 non dilution) of capital. Secured NIH - Organ on a Chip grant along with Children's hospital in Philadelphia. H2020 for SME Instruments Phase2 - successfuly completed multiplex SPuMP. Gained 4 Space Florida by lateral grants and 3 Israeli Space Agency’s full project grants by ratio of 85%:15%!
